Associate Membership
If you like the idea of open spaces for wildlife, and places for townspeople to enjoy nature — as well as a source of joy for our children, then please join us! Associate Members can work on a specific project or task, with no obligation to attend regular WCC meetings (even though we'd love to have you). You'll be involved in an incredibly rewarding experience!
Some Suggested Member Projects
Here are some projects for which we'd really like to have help from Associate Members or Volunteers:
- Nature photography — Taking new photos ot help keep our Web site updated
- Interpretive signs and notes — Help write text for interpretive signs and notes to help educate those who use the land
- Research available land for purchase — Help expand the Conservation Lands
- Educating our youth — Create programs and materials for Wells school teachers. Help teach our kids the value of wildlife and open spaces!
If you're interested in joining us, please contact the WCC.
